I create fine art, functional art, and opportunities for myself and others to observe, reflect, discover, and build community through the written word.

I was raised in New England and now live in Northern California and Idaho. For years, I worked in natural resource management for the National Park Service and as a writing tutor for college students. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and Master’s degrees from the University of Idaho.
